We focus our tax, assurance and consulting work on profit oriented businesses only which makes our work anything but routine!

This provides a mix of work and a degree of difficulty not often seen in small firms. Accordingly, we look to advance our students more quickly to meet these challenges.

Our office environment is very busy and always professional. We maintain current decor and up to date technology to make our physical surroundings pleasant and efficient. It truly is a big city atmosphere in a small town setting.

We belong to an independent and elite group of eight firms in Alberta with similar philosophies on quality, training, practice management and profitability.

We are committed to maintaining a high partner to student ratio in order to provide students with opportunities to be trained by partners and have access to partners for assistance and information versus employing pools of students. We are currently training 1 CASB students and 3 CGA student.

InVision Chartered Accountants' working environment fits ideally with the Chartered Accountants School of Business (CASB) program. During their first year of employment with our firm, students are exposed to a wide variety of assignments in various industry segments. Students are responsible for all aspects of an assignment, including the financial statement preparation, tax planning and business advisory services. The vast array of experience, coupled with the fast paced environment offers the skills and resources needed in the continuous learning environment of CASB.

Renumeration and benefits include:

  • All employees are paid hourly for actual hours worked.
  • We offer group life and disability insurance on a cost shared basis.
  • Employees are reimbursed up to $300 per year for particpation in community clubs or activities.
  • CA, CGA and CMA student wages are always offered at martket - whatever that may be.
  • Meal reimbursement is available for employees working over 10 hours in a day.
  • $1,000 recruiting bonus to employees referring an articling student to the firm who is successfully hired.
  • Annual bonuses are calculated for all designated accountants (CA, CGA, CMA) based on chargeable hours.
  • Bonuses are paid to any employee who brings a new client to the firm.

We continually recruit staff and train CA, CGA and CMA students.
