Gayle joined the firm as an articling student in 1995 after a short period with Coopers & Lybrand in Edmonton. Prior to that, she obtained her Bachelor of Commerce Degree with Distinction at the University of Alberta. Gayle grew up in the Manning/Hawk Hills area and now enjoys returning there to provide professional services. She funds an annual scholarship with her CA-sister (Karen) for Paul Rowe High School students in Manning called the Walisser Woman of Excellence Scholarship.

Gayle obtained her CA designation in 1998 and immediately thereafter became a partner in the firm.

She acts as the firm's Human Resource partner, is extensively involved with preparing and managing AgriStability and AgriInvest program applications and works with a wide variety of clients.

Gayle and her husband, Thane, have two boys, Kye and Hunter. Gayle volunteers at the boys' school, coordinates the Children's Liturgy program at the local Catholic church and can be seen every lunch hour exercising or instructing a fitness class at Fitness on the Go.
